My artwork is a picture of my lake at Little Boy Resort. It has a sunset, water, and sand. I created this artwork by using paint and canvas. The big idea is to let people know how much I love my lake. It is super special to me and my mom has been going there since she was a kid. My goal for this was to try my best to make an artwork that showed my beautiful lake. My overall thoughts are that I could've done a lot better but I was kind of rushed and didn't have all the materials needed.
The first studio habit I am using to complete this artwork is observe because for my artwork I have to look at some pictures I took this summer. The second studio habit I will be using is develope craft because I will be using paints.
My artwork is a variety of palm leaves, with a pinkish background. I created this artwork with a white canvas, some research, and some paint. The big idea behind this artwork is to let people know how much I love tropical areas. My goals for this artwork were to be able to make an okay background and an okay palm leaf. My overall thoughts are that I could do way better if I didn't feel as stressed.
My artwork is of a live chicken cooking in a pan on the stove. I created this artwork by using pencil to sketch, and paint to finish. My big idea behind this artwork is to use mixed media, because usually we butcher and then clean the chicken before frying it. My goals were to make something kind of strange into something unique! My overall thoughts on my artwork would be that I tried my best but there is obviously lots of room for improvement!
My artwork is palm leaves. This is where i'm at. For this artwork the first studio habit I used was engage and persist. This is because I can't drive, so it was hard for me to get my canvas. The second studio habit I used was develop craft. That is because I experienced using painting techniques. The artist I was mostly looking into was Alexander Marshall because od his colorful artworks!
The first studio habit I used was invision, before we started the timer I had to think about how i was going to get the sketches done in time. The next studio habit I used was sketch and explore, because we were doing sketches.
This is different because she took inspiration from a movie. This artist uses a very i=unique way of observation, by putting it outside and watching it. For my "stakeout" I would pick one of my favorite songs, find the background/research it, Then write it down on a big board, set it outside, and observe/watch how people react.
This is my senses mind map. I used the envision studio habit for most of my map because I am currently quarantined, so I have cleaning supplies and other ideas. The second studio habit I used is the reflect one, because I had to envision and stop and think about some of my squares.
I have not been in class, yes quarantine sucks. But I think my artwork is over halfway done. I really need to be using the engage and persist studio habit because I am currently in the middle of a challenge and I am not sure how I am going to overcome it. For my observational drawing today I drew coffee cup.
